Write your thesis in LaTeX or Typst with ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini.
You already research with your assistant, so Texeno comes to it. Connect it and it drafts, compiles and fixes your LaTeX or Typst, with every edit a suggestion you accept or reject.

Ask for a section, a table or an equation. It writes LaTeX or Typst into your files, with your packages and your .bib keys.

It compiles, reads the log, opens the line and suggests a fix, then compiles again to check.
My thesis won't compile. Fix it.

Questions about AI, LaTeX and Typst
Does Texeno have AI?
Yes. ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini works inside your Texeno project: it drafts and rewrites LaTeX or Typst, compiles and fixes the errors, with its cursor and edits in the editor like a co-author's. It is the assistant you already research with, on your own plan, and every edit is a suggestion you accept or reject.
Can ChatGPT write my thesis in LaTeX?
It can draft sections, tables and equations in your project and fix its LaTeX. The ideas, data and final text must be yours: read every suggestion before you accept it.
Am I allowed to use AI for my thesis?
It depends on your university. Some allow help with language and LaTeX if you say where you used it; others restrict it. Check the policy and ask your supervisor.
Can AI fix my LaTeX errors?
Yes. It compiles, reads the errors, edits the lines and compiles again to check. In Claude, the Fix compile errors prompt does this.
Which assistants work with Texeno?
Any that connects to remote MCP servers with sign-in, including ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Code, Gemini, Gemini CLI, Cursor and VS Code.
Why doesn't Texeno build in its own assistant?
You already research with ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini, and your chats and sources are there. So we bring Texeno to that assistant rather than asking you to move to another one.
Do I need a paid ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini plan?
Claude lets every plan add custom connectors, one on its free plan. ChatGPT has Texeno in its app directory, with no developer mode. Gemini CLI is free; custom apps in the Gemini app aren't on every account yet.
Will it change my text without asking?
No. Its edits arrive as tracked suggestions unless you ask it to apply them.
What can it see?
Only the projects you can open in Texeno, with the same role you have on each.
Does it work with an Overleaf project?
Yes, once the project is in Texeno: upload it as a .zip or import it from GitHub.
How do I disconnect it?
In Texeno, open Settings → Integrations and choose Disconnect next to it. It loses access at once.
Where do I get help?
Email [email protected] and say which assistant you use.
