About the Course notes for required readings, modern style template
The modernclassnotes class is a clean, modern and highly configurable framework for typesetting academic course notes, lecture handouts and assignment worksheets. This example uses the notes mode, with a header giving the course MATH-405 on Boolean algebra, the term and the department, a contents list of chapter sections such as Digital Systems and Binary Numbers, and the chapter notes. Replace the sample text with your own notes.
