About the Beamer footlines with hackthefootline template
The hackthefootline package takes over and redefines Beamer footlines, configured through pgfkeys key-value options. This ten-page example shows the results, such as a footline with short author, short institute, short title and the page number, as 1/1. Optional features need other packages, such as appendixnumberbeamer and calc. It loads Source Sans Pro and Source Code Pro. Choose the footline style you prefer and copy its key settings into your own slides.
