About the Beamer journal-club talk, 16:9 template
A Beamer deck for presenting one or two academic papers in a 15 to 20 minute journal-club talk. It uses a 16:9 frame and opens with a title slide that carries the paper's authors, arXiv identifier, presenter, institution and venue.
The first content slide is a TL;DR that frames the question, the method, the headline result and its implication. The preamble loads TikZ, pgfplots, booktabs and the AMS maths packages for figures, plots and tables.
