Accessibility
We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA.

What we checked
In October 2026 we checked the app, the editor with its dialogs and panels, and the sign-in pages with axe against the WCAG 2.2 AA rules. We fixed what it found, including:
- tab lists follow the ARIA pattern;
- the PDF scrolls with the keyboard;
- focus outlines show at full strength.
Contrast, motion and charts
- In every theme, text has a contrast of at least 4.5:1 and controls at least 3:1.
- Animations stop when your system asks for reduced motion.
- Charts in the app come with a table for screen readers.
Known gaps
- Parts added since that check have not been rechecked the same way: the other languages, the phone layout, the PDF viewer and the guides.
- A PDF you compile is only as accessible as its source. LaTeX doesn't tag a PDF unless your document asks for it.
- Screen readers aren't told when someone else edits the file you have open.
